Another great night!
I really enjoyed last night at Barrow hill even though the numbers were down, probably due to bonfire night. The music was spot on by all the dj's, making it a brilliant across the board night. Thank you to guest dj Andy Riley who played a wonderful crossover and modern mix.

Not too many in the Barrow Hill Soul Club, seems like most of the other soul nights had the same problem. Probably due to the end of the school holidays and lots of the regulars being away. Anyway we still had a wonderful night with the music being spot on from all the dj's. Thank you to guest dj Andy Jones making his first appearance at Barrow Hill, he didn't disappoint. Looking forward to having him back at some stage. I thoroughly enjoyed the night and had plenty of dances. Our next night October 3rd is Keith's 40th birthday party. This being a free night and open invitation. See you all there!

What a Great Night, Across The Board!
Yet another great night at Barrow Hill last Saturday. Not too many in, but the music was superb and truly across the board. Neil Page filled in for Keith again, doing a good spot, and as always a wonderful spot from guest dj, Mark Hopes. Stuart finished the night off playing mainly modern, ending with a few northern oldies. What a great night all round. Thank you to those who attended. Next months guest dj is Newarks Sweet Soul, Dougie Hall. Hope to see you all there, can't wait.

Wow! What A Night To Remember!
I can honestly say last Saturday night at Barrow Hill was the best night I've had for ages. I had been looking forward to it for months as my favourite dj, Soul Sam was appearing. Well I wasn't at all disappointed. Stuart started the night off playing some great rare oldies, next up was Cressy who played a wonderful across the board spot. Soul Sam finished the night off in excellent style, playing two hours of across the board. I had twenty seven dances and thoroughly enjoyed the night from start to finish. Thank you to guest dj's Cressy and Soul Sam for making this one of the most enjoyable nights I've had. Also a big thank you for all who attended. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. See you next month for our fourth anniversary.

Last Night!
What a great night at Barrow Hill Soul Club. The numbers were down significantly, most likely due to the bad weather. The night was still buzzing as the music was excellent throughout the night. Thank you to the guest dj Mona for playing a great spot and also to Chris Cooper who stood in for Keith. Not forgetting resident dj Stuart who played a good mix of across the board.
